Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) is a technology that converts a copper telephone line into a high speed digital connection.  DSL provides an always on, un-metered, digital broadband connection to the Internet. ICTC provides a variety of speeds. However, distance from our equipment can and will affect the attainable speed. Almost all of of the towns within our coverage area are capable of 50 meg. With DSL internet service you’ll experience:

  • The ability to be on the internet and the phone at the same time
  • A dedicated, high-speed connection to send and receive information
  • The ability to share the connection with multiple devices simultaneously.

Monthly cost for DSL (when bundled with phone service):

  • Starter – $39.95 (Up to 5 meg)
  • Bronze – $49.95 (Up to 10 meg)
  • Silver –  $59.95 (Up to 20 meg)
  • Gold – $89.95 (Up to 50 meg, Inside the city limits of almost all towns are capable of 50 meg today. **)

There is an installation fee that is waived if you keep the service for one year. The modem is the responsibility of the customer and can be acquired at the time of installation from ICTC. The listed DSL does not include the cost of local telephone service. Most customers living in town are capable of realizing speeds up to 50 meg; rural customers speeds can vary depending on the distance from our equipment.

**To receive Gold speeds on DSL, customers must be within range of our equipment and must upgrade their modem to VDSL.
